Rainfall :) - Hair fall :(

Rain fall is here so is the hair fall …. the monsoon time most of us face problems with our hair .. Our hair tend to get dull , frizzy , sweaty , skull becomes scrachty .. We manage to fig out with our clothes , shoes , accessories but when it comes to  doing your hair .. 

we try different styles to make them look lustrous , bouncy , tidy … and in the end when nothing works … just a knot in the hair n u move out …. so here are some tips that can help your hair look fresh , non frizzy …. 

• Regular hair wash is must, as delay could lead to oily scalp, excessive hair fall, dandruff and roughness.
• Use mild shampoo , (if unable to find apt one use baby shampoo)
• Condition your hair . 
• Do not comb / brush your hair when wet. let them dry 
• apply  fresh lime juice fifeen mins before your hair wash , it all give bounce to your hair also is beneficial for the dandruff control.
• Research has proven that hairfall during monsoon increases by about 30 per cent;forest essential hair fall control oil. 
• Hair becomes Frizzy , use serum it will make your hair look neat

Talking about monsoons , most of us enjoy the rains .. and would not mind getting lil wet in rain. Atleast i have  always  loved the idea of rain ... and don't mind some rain drops falling on my face ,  but for sure keeping in mind what i am wearing  (the make up i mean ) :P 

Due to humidity /chip chip , makeup is best avoided these days.  Here are some Do`s n Don`t s for the rainy season

Do`s and Dont

CTM 

Must use toner in this monsoon . helps in the humid weather. I would recommend clinique whole CTM set for the same . you can pick up as per your skin tone 

Wear Sunscreen  

Do not get deceived by the clouds as the sun can wreak havoc even in between the rains. One should use sunscreen even on cloudy days to prevent allergies caused by ultraviolet

Use powder foundation 

One should avoid using foundation. If it is not avoidable, make sure it is water proof. Otherwise, use a talcum powder.

Eye liners

Liquid eye liners and mascaras should be avoided as they may smudge if you get wet and enter your eyes. Instead use a pencil liner or waterproof mascara. 

Manicure /Pedicure 

One should also avoid manicure and pedicure that involves pushing cuticles inside as they are an easy access to bacteria during monsoons.

Lipstick 

Avoid using glossy shades, Use neutral/ Matt shades .

MAC AB0 Matte chili  is very apt for the monsoon, makes your your face looks bright.

gup-shup .. all night long

Its saturday night  .. hot outside ... What are your plans ... Party all night long  or dinning out ... or a Romantic Date  ;) or an in-house party  .....  i am sure we all have plans ... but at times i quite like the idea of PAJAMA PARTY too ...  in my form i will classify this in the category of party only ....the endless gup shup .. the clock tics 4 am, and you still haven't finished your part .... All of us do that when we are home for a PAJAMA PARTY... read on..

The pic so much reminds of the fun. Going back to the old days where late nights was out of question (it was like as if you had asked to go to a different planet)  and when you are sulking sitting home finally u are told " you can call friends over" ..... that would bring smile to your face ... i loved that time .... I'm sure you did too ... 

Its so much fun when we all sit together and talk all the nonsense in the world .. that what I define as NONSENSE now was of course the most fruitful conversation for us at that time, btw, hehe :D.  of course It made sense to us  .. when we all would  sit and talk about the so called  "affairs" of our friends/ foes around ... and talking about  lil flings or crush`s that we had.  One friend in the corner would be busy talking on phone with her "BF" and of course she is forced to keep the phone  ... You would  make crank calls  .. its so much fun talking on phone with a fake identity (talking at the times of landline ) ... suddenly someone  beside  you will call  out your name  n u r caught .... In todays scenario i would say its the Fb time (there was once orkut time n now its fb or twitter time .. its like classifying as BC or AC) ,checking profiles , pics etc etc  and ofcourse we would have some funny characters in our friend list who are just fun to look at but there are no real friends of yours . isn't it so.  its always a never ending night 

  

Its been a long night and  I'm hungry ... the question would be who would go to the kitchen and fetch something . Each one of us  would have our own reasons to say no ...  one would be scared of dark the other one will certainly deny saying i cant even cook  Maggie .... or something or the other .. and then finally all of us would go together ... walking in the house quietly as if you are a  thief  ... Finally, after so much of struggle, u have something to fill your belly.

TGIF !!!  ... and its party time :))  Its the weekend and that party you were looking forward to is on... and u r ready for it, or are u???  Never ending wardrobe has nothing exciting to fit in ….  N just when you are in the market shopping for the weekend party…  clothes ticked .. footwear's decided ... accessories on the list .. and u finally take a sigh .. yes shopping is complete.. but hang-on!  Is your vanity kit complete? …. "of course" you would say, "i have all i need .. lipstick .. kohl .. cream`s ...  blush, etc." .. but, darling, have you actually decided on what are you wearing today ... I mean, the make up ..  

in the summer heat, when you don't want to wear something very loud, but yet have that pretty look, here's something that i feel u must have to give a subtle, yet seductive look to the eyes 

The  Mac base to the eye is a must to enhance the makeup. The make up does not merge and won't fade away until mid night or early morning (u would stay at the party that long .. won't you   )

INGLOT AMC pigment eyeshadow 73 from  ..  Take a lil bit on the brush and  pat in on the middle of the eye spreading it towards the  outer corner of the eye...  you can use more quantity if you want to give lil more purple effect to the eye ...  

 INGLOT (eye shadow 391)  take a black eye shadow spread it towards  the corner of the eye.  spread it neatly on the edge in a > shape

Use a light golded eye shadow from MAC  and apply it under the eyebrow.

Super Liner Luminizer From Loreal. Create a line as thick or as delicate as you wish.

All dressed, Accessorized, Makeup on, Heels on, all set to rock that party!  Just before u r abt to leave, that final check in the mirror tells u, Oh! not that lipstick!!! and u end up changing ur  lipstick ...  at times u wipe it off when you reach the venue... u  feel its not apt for the occasion... Sounds like i'm talking abt U??? well, u r not alone!  I believe many of us fall into that category.  Lipstick and gloss have always created a delimna in the mind of women.  A wrong choice in the lipstick changes one's look.  U hv to be very cautious while choosing the color. 

You should always keep  lipstick handy in you bag, u never know wen u might need it... like, u are at work and you have to go for a party after work .. or when you are not too dressed for work and you suddenly have a important meeting lined up ... a nice lipstick can make you look fresh and dauntless.  Sometimes, when you are not in a good mood, feel ugly inside, stressed … getting dressed and going out with a bold lip color makes you dauntless; just a point of view. 

I see orange everywhere (not the fruits :P :P ) ( please bear with my PJ`s)  the color of the season.  that reminds me one of the funny things i do .. you have to listen to this ..  i went shopping sometime ago, bought orange footwear from the market.  and now that i was wearing that footwear.. i ended up buying clothes .. belt … accessories to match up with... my Mom went berserk...

okay, lets talk about the real stuff .. the lipstick i mean .. coming back to the orange color . i was dying to buy a orange lipstick for me and my sis too was after my life to find her one… i tried different places .. some were bright orange, some were dull.  But I was looking for a particular orange, a lighter tone.  And then, i found exactly what i was looking for, the orange from the color bar is the one i really liked.  a must  try: COLOR BAR 6O - obsessed orange 

Theres another one from the same color bar that I keep it handy in my bag :)

The crayon shape lipstick truly defines its name TAKE ME AS I AM . its creamy at the same time not too glossy , nice pink color , one does not need to carry anything else with it. the only thing is does not taste too well . May be because of the "crayon effect"..  but if you are not too fussy about the taste .. its a good buy.

The  Gloss adds glamour to your face. Dark lipstick with a Gloss a a big no no if you are going for office meeting.  a nude color lipstick with little gloss looks sober for the work . subtle colors for the day wear soft pink or soft orange . And when going for a party where you want to give a sultry look you can for sure wear a lipstick a hot read or pink with some nice gloss .

We girls, by nature, are very conscious about fragrances, the ones we wear and also the ones others around us are wearing.  Most of us wud agree that fragrance is not just a part of the dressing ritual, but is a necessity... many people tend to have bad body odor, some sweat excessively, and most importantly, we girls generally like to smell good, dont we :)   Also, its when we gurls sit together and talk about the "gurly gurly stuff"... the topic of makeup , clothes , nice fragrance (the stayon goes without saying) is the most discussed... even boyfriends come later!!! I personally feel a good perfume does add to your persona, makes you feel fresh, and most remarkably, become one's defining aroma.  

Since I hv been complemented, i say, enough times, I'm going to suggest some good products/tips for my friends out there who'd like to experiment with what others hv found good.  Though by and large these have been praised by many, I suggest you choose products suiting your temprament and the ones ur body likes... but go on, smell nice :))
 I love parties... it is also the most "smelly" experience, though... lots of people close enough that ur olfactory ducts give up!!! especially on the dance floor.... that's why it is important that u wear the right fragrance before you go partying.  Issey Miyake L'Eau D'Issey Perfumed Alcohol Free Roll On Deodorant is a good one.  It really is a long lasting fragrance.. and a strong one too, such that a morning application will last u that dinner date even if you cudnt hv time to shower after office... now, if u like it, dont make it an excuse to skip shower, though ;)

One of my fav fragrances is YSL elle .  i just  simply love it.  the first time i had it, it was actually gifted to me . when first i  caught a whiff of sweets perfume, I wanted it to stay and last with me through the day.  it has quite a bit of staying power... a perfect evening wear . try it ... !!!

makeup OR made up !!

While on a visit to a shopping mall i happen to see a girl whose face looked like a pancake.. not bcoz of the skin she had or bcoz of the heat ,  it was just the make up on her .. seemed like she had finished the whole base and blush on her ...  As rightly said "excess of everything is bad" it very well goes for the makeup too , otherwise it looks like not makeup but just made up ;) Its just the right product has to be used in the right manner

          Quick makeup for the office / or just a day out with friends

• For the base

MAC make up foundation's are awesome . the I would suggest which perfectly goes with the skin tone . The application has to be smooth , blended nicely with the sponge or the foundation brush . what ever you are comfy with.
i use mac base as per my skin tone. the primer for sure help you with smooth application of the makeup. but if in rush you can do without the primer.

•  For  Eyes

A must buy MAC select cover up. This not only covers ur dark circle making it look even but also can work as eye bronzer. With the selec cover up all you need to apply is kajal and it will do the wonders to the eyes.

•   kajal 

Apply kajal the usual way.  and  also if you want to make it look more thick on the outer lid you can use the the mac kohl (in small box) with the brush and spread it under the eye.

• Blushon    

I prefer using the neutral color  brown which not only makes it look natural but also highlights the cheek bones.

• for the Lips

You can go for  the neutral color or if you want to give a reddish  color to the lips apply lesser coat of matt  chili AB0
